Hi and welcome! I’m Becky, and I live with my husband and three kids in Laurens, SC. When I’m not at my day job, or doing mom stuff, I spend as much time as I can creating art. Over the years, I’ve created art in many forms: painting, photography, stained glass, digital art, architecture, bookbinding, and quilting. I love it all!

Painting is my true therapy. It’s partly how I cope with the symptoms of clinical depression, which I have struggled with since adolescence. I love the feel of moving bright, colorful paint around with a palette knife. It’s a great escape from the more stressful things we encounter in life. I also love nature. In my paintings, I reimagine the classical landscape. Using bold color, texture, and abstraction, I transpose on to panel what I see in my mind’s eye. The beauty of nature, and capturing it in paint, truly brings me joy. My hope is that you will also find joy in the viewing of my work.
